We are excited to introduce AI SMS Blast, a powerful new addition to our Blast Campaign feature. Now, users can create and send personalized SMS campaigns in just three simple steps, similar to the AI Email Blast process.
How to Access AI SMS Blast:
Navigate to the Blast module and click Send a New Blast. You’ll now see an option for AI Blast. This feature supports both Email and SMS — simply choose SMS as your blast type during setup.
How It Works:
Step 1: Define Your Campaign (Setup)
Begin by entering a prompt that describes your SMS campaign and specifying your target audience (guests). After entering these details, they click 'Next'.
AI will automatically generate the SMS message content, along with pre-filled details like:
SMS Name
Sender Info
Target Audience
Helpful tips on the right guide users to write better prompts:
Describe the overall message you want to send.
State the goal or intent of the message (e.g., promotion, reminder, update).
Add a sample tone or content if applicable.
Clearly define the audience and segment for better targeting.
Once submitted, a loading indicator will appear while AI generates the SMS blast.
Step 2: AI-Generated SMS & Review
After processing, you’ll be taken to the Review screen, where you can:
View the AI-generated SMS content.
Edit or customize the message to suit your tone or brand.
Ensure message length and formatting are SMS-friendly.
Step 3: Launch Your Blast
In the final step, confirm and finalize the campaign details:
SMS Name: The internal name assigned to the blast.
Sender Info
Target Audience: The selected recipients for the SMS blast. Users can target their audience using predefined segments. If they want to target a specific type of audience, they can create a new segment with desired filters. Once the segment is created, it will appear in the segment dropdown. By selecting the segment, the system automatically applies the filters based on the segment criteria and targets the appropriate audience.
You can update any of these by clicking the Edit button. Editable fields will become active, allowing modifications. After changes, click Save Changes or Discard to revert.
Once ready, click Next, and choose to either Send Now or Schedule the SMS blast.
